RDG x NZ Mint x Tikitoon

The Tikitoon jewellery line was launched last week, and David was on hand to perform a few tracks. The line has been created by twins, David and Michael Robinson, who along with their father, Ken, make up Robinson Designer Goldsmith, or RDG. If you haven’t heard of RDG before, it’s an exclusive jewellery studio that boasts the most exquisite hand-made jewellery, or, in other words, one of the most baller places you’ll ever set foot in. You know, expect to drop racks on racks on racks to acquire a piece from RDG. But not everyone has a spare 5 to 50 thousand lying around, which is where this lil guy comes in, at much more accessible prices. The Tikitoon range, in collaboration with NZ Mint, features the character that they hope to become NZ’s version of Hello Kitty. It’s also the first uni-sex range NZ Mint, perhaps best known for the Boh Runga collection, is bringing to the market. Oh, and the connection between David and the RDG guys? That sits on a certain left-hand finger of mine.
