cold nights and glitter nails

This is what I’ve been doing lately, huddled beside the heater in my room, losing all will to do anything except try and make my nails look pretty. I’m not very good at it, truth be told, but it’ll do.
These colours look great with or without glitter
Once the colour has dried, I sponge some of the glitter polish over top, you can probably just paint it on using the brush, but I like how the sponge distributes the glitter a bit more unevenly.
With the Ruby polish:

The sponge trick is amazing. I’ve been trying to do sunsets and whatnot, but it’s soooo messy. Those Ruby colours though… I need.
haha, I’d been trying to do the ombre thing with the sponge, but it just wasn’t working! In the end, I settled for a poor-mans ombre with the glitter.
Sweeeet! I’m getting way into my nailpolish lately. Love the glittery sponge trick, might try it sometime for something new.

Forgot to also say.. Have you tried the Nicki Minaj OPI line? They are in awesome pastel colors.. You would suit them =)
haha funnily enough the bf was saying my nails looked pretty ‘nicki minaj’.
