Actually remembered to take my umbrella with me and busted it out for the first time this winter as I crossed the street in Ponsonby. I felt pretty cool. I was going to a casting and I knew I’d have to try on a couple of outfits, so I didn’t wanna put too many layers on. I ended up with an LBD, my Liam Navy coat, and colourful Gorman socks with these Kathryn Wilson heels I got a couple years ago. As a happy coincidence, the colours of my socks matched my umbrella – also Gorman.

I bought the umbrella when Gorman first opened in Newmarket so I’m not sure if they still sell them. I like how it comes right down over your face so the rain can’t blow sideways into it. Plus, you know it’s good when you’re like, ‘Yay, it’s raining, I can finally use my umbrella!’

On another note, I talked about wanting a robe-like coat here, and thanks to the bf, I’ve been wearing this Liam decided coat every day since I got it. It really is like you’re just wearing a big comfy robe around, except you look way more sophisticated with very little effort. This also makes me coat-twins with Katherine.
